The usual way into the valley if you are already at the lake. The ferry is about two and a half hours. The minibus from Fierza to Valbona is about 45 minutes and is in the price.

Meet at Rozafa Bar 30 minutes before the 09:00 departure. The season for this connection is May to October. You ride the ferry to Fierza, then the organised transfer into Valbona National Park. The whole journey is about three and a half to four hours.

Komani Lake is a hydroelectric reservoir. In spring and autumn the water can sit lower. The boat still runs. If it cannot reach the usual Shala stop, the walk along the bank is about 300–400 metres.
