Taking children to the Shala River

The morning shared boat is the usual family choice. You are on the beach around 11:15 and back at Koman the same afternoon, about six hours on the water. The noon boat gives a longer stop and a later finish, which is a long day for small children. The water is clear and cold. Bring swimwear, a towel, water shoes and a layer for the boat. There is no food in the ticket.

From Shkodra the same morning boat is inside the €34 day, with the minibus at 07:00. That is an early start. A private boat is quieter if you want your own hour, at €200 for up to six. The speedboat is faster and less comfortable for a long family swim. Kayaks and the zipline at the river are local extras, not part of any Rozafa ticket.
